Frank Schlaht has been fishing the Columbia waterways for over 20+ years using traditional fishing techniques as well as incorporating the latest trends.
Your fishing adventure starts at a time set by your guide based on the type of fishing and season you choose. Whether it’s Spring Chinook, Coho, Steelhead or Sturgeon fishing, you will be provided all the gear and bait you will need on a 24’ Umpqua Marine boat to have a great day of fun and fishing! This boat has room for up to 6 anglers, no experience needed! You can book a morning or afternoon, which ever you prefer. Also, your Captain will clean and fillet your catch.
You will need to bring a valid Oregon fishing license and harvest card. Dressweather appropriate (raingear) (layers are a good idea – this is Oregon after all)! You will need to provide your own snacks, drinks, and lunch. Bottled water will be available on the boat.
Safety Is Our #1 Priority.
Our boat is equipped with all required safety equipment. “Weather” is always considered when making safety decisions-even if the fishing is great!

Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 7 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you’ll forfeit 100% of what you’ve paid.

Fisherman At Work
We specialize in family friendly trips that everyone can enjoy. We ensure that you will have a great day on the water. A standard day trip departs at 5:30 to 6am and we normally return to the dock around 2:00pm with roughly an hour of fish cleaning to follow.
These trips are all inclusive with high quality fishing tackle, bait, and bottled water included in the price of trip. We put in the extra effort to make sure that each client is satisfied with their day…Swack’em Fishing Team.
